2022 Calcutta Information

Sign Up to Play in the Calcutta

  • This is for both men and women and is the Club Championship and Handicap Championship.

  • This for Adults only. Players must be 18 or older and graduated high school.

  • Players must have paid $6 to get an established handicap in the book.

  • $20 enters you in both tournaments.

  • Sign up for a tee time, must be at least 2 people in your group.

  • Rounds and tee times must be in by Friday, July 29 at 7:00pm.

Calcutta Auction

  • Friday July 29th 7:30

  • All players are listed with their handicaps and everyone has the opportunity to “buy a player”.

  • You may buy as a single person or you may have a group of people who are buying.

  • High bid “owns” that golfer.

  • The golfer who is “bought” may buy in for ½ of the bid, to own ½ of themselves.

  • This must be  done that evening (29th).

  • The bidding begins with a 2 “Wild Card” bids for 1st and 2nd pick.

  • Highest bidders then have the 1st and 2nd picks for golfers.

  • After that the remaining golfers are put up for bidding 1 at a time, until all are gone and

auction is closed.

  • All money raised through the auction goes into the pot with 1/3 of betters paid.
